Tumor of Meckel’s Cave in a Patient with Lung Cancer Presenting with Trigeminal Neuropathy

Abstract

|
We report a rare case of a 56-year-old man presented with trigeminal neuropathy caused by the tumor involving the Meckel’s cave. Imaging studies showed an enhanced mass with aggressive nature in Meckel’s cave and lung caner with multiple metastases. Lung biopsy showed the adenocarcinoma. The tumor of Meckel’s cave was suspected of metastasis, however, a pathological study was not performed due to patient’s refusal. The radiotherapy commenced instantly and the patient much improved. This report introduces that the clinical, radiological findings, and treatment of this rare entity.
